I am excited to announce that my video portraits of Marginal Trades practitioners have been selected for International Motion Art Awards 2.
I am thrilled to win the Third Prize in the Fine Art Portraiture category and an Honorable mention in the Moving Images category at the International Photo Awards 2013

PX3 Prix De La Photographie, Paris, awarded my series Marginal Trades, a Silver medal in the Press Category!!
KLPA has just announced that my image from the series "Marginal Trades" has won the First Prize in the Portraiture category!! The Winning images will be exhibited for a month at the Galeri Petronas, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
It feels great announcing that I am a recipient of the prestigious SVA Alumni Society Award 2013 for my Thesis project on the ‘Marginal Trades’ of India.
The leading women's fashion magazine - Me ( DNA, Mumbai ) featured some of my Travel & street photographs in their March issue. Thanks much to Jeena Mitra Banik, the Asst. Editor, for publishing this selection in her magazine. She has also kindly penned the foreward of my self-published book - 'India Mirrored'.
